Through our partner Molecular Research Center (MRC) we can offer an extensive catalog of research tools for isolation of DNA and RNA. MRC is a pioneer in the development of isolation reagents, and the company is the source of the well know RNAzol reagent, which they continuously improved since the initial launch 1989.
RNAzol BD innovative reagent for RNA-isolation from blood Low RNA input is a limiting factor for accurate gene expression analysis and it is important to optimize the isolation procedure as far as possible. RNAzol BD is a high yield RNA isolation reagent for human blood. Typical isolation yields are 7-23 ug RNA/ml blood, which can be compared to yields of comparable methods of only 1-6 ug RNA/ml blood.
RNAzol BD advantages:
- Allows simultaneous isolation of RNA and DNA
- Typical yields are 7-23 ug RNA/ml blood
- Whole isolation procedure in 1,5 hours performed in room temperature
For more information read the study by Chomczynski et al in where the authors compared different isolation reagents and their capability of isolating RNA from blood (here).
